Abdur-Rahim Haneef "RA" Rashada is the beloved brother of Aqueelah Nafeesa Rashada. He was a husband and father of 4 and transitioned at the age of 42 on February, 13, 2024.

He was an avid reader his entire life and loved to acquire and use beneficial knowledge. 

As such, to honor his memory & legacy, Aqueelah has established the "Abdur-Rahim Haneef 'RA' Rashada Seekers of Knowledge Scholarship." 

This year's "Seekers of Knowledge" Scholarship recipient will receive a Full Scholarship to the 21st Annual Youth-N-Creation (YNC), Week-long, Overnight, S.T.E.A.M. and Environmental Education Summer Camp at Blue Jay Point County Park Environmental Education Center & Lodge in Raleigh, NC (Monday, June 23 - Saturday, June 28, 2025).

YNC Summer Camp is open to all youth and is planned, led, and organized by life-long students of Imam W. Deen Mohammed. Their motto is "Enriching the Mind by Engaging G-D's Creation" along with this quote from Imam W. Deen Mohammed:
 
“Nature is the mother of education … with knowledge that has been extracted out of Mother Nature, the child … begins to see how the intellect can assist Mother Nature and a New World begins to develop - a world of science, industry, [and] great progress.”

As such, the "Seekers of Knowledge" Scholarship Questions incorporate Haneef's love for learning through reading and YNC's focus on also learning through hands-on exploration of G-D's Creation!

ALL campers & CITs who intend to apply to attend the 2025 "Youth-N-Creation" Summer Camp are eligible to apply. The Scholarship is a FULL Scholarship and includes the deposit to hold their space in the camp!
